Area called Nový rybník and the public opinion of citizens living in Příbram

Title: Areál Nový rybník a veřejné mínění obyvatel Příbrami Objectives: The aim of my diploma thesis is to use a public opinion research to find out the attitude of citizens living in Příbram for publicly discussed issues related to an Area called Nový rybník Methods: For this work, a qualitative research method was used - survey questioning. To find out the opinions of the citizens of Příbram, a questionnaire was compiled, which was distributed in online as well as in physical form. Results: On the basis of the conducted research, it was found that the perception of the area is generally viewed very positively by public and that the vast majority of the Příbram citizens visit the area at least once a year. The Příbram public has rather a negative attitude towards the entry of dogs into the area. A narrow majority of residents agree with the ban on drinking alcohol in the area. More than a half of Příbramans would have no problem paying the entrance fee to the complex. Marketing communication of Czech Olympic Foundation

Title: Marketing communication of Czech Olympic Foundation Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the current marketing communitacion in Czech Olympic Foundation and according to these knowledges to create a project presenting proposals for the improvement of the marketing communication of this organization to increase the efficiency in use of the individual parts of the communication mix and to introduce new unused instruments. Methods: For the evaluation of the marketing communication are chosen both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The method of electronic interrogation with a sample of available respondents is realized. Data collection is carried out thanks to prepared questionnaires which are sent by electronic mail to each interviewee. The method of indepth interview with the manager of the project Czech Olympic Foundation is also used to find out all current communication channels. Results: The outcome of this thesis is a proposal of the marketing communication containing new communication instruments and ways to increase the efficiency of the existing ones which are based on the analysis and evaluation of the current status of exploited marketing instruments. Title: Popularity and attitudes to handball in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out public attitudes to handball and perception of its popularity in the Czech republic. Within this research is also the aim to examine frequency of respondents' contact and awareness about this sport. Methods: Gaining the necessary data for processing the topic is reached by the method of electronic questioning using the questionnaire that has been created strictly for purpose of this work. Processing of theoretical base of this bachelor thesis has been carried out with help of the source study method. Results: Research has found out attitudes of general public in the Czech republic to handball and also perception of its popularity. On the basis of questioning has been discovered main factors influencing popularity of handball and also possible moves, which should serve to its increase. Title: The popularity of handball among Prague university students Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out the popularity of handball among the students of Prague universities. The content of the work is following and playing handball. It also focuses on awareness and knowledge of this sport and the general perception of the attractiveness of handball. Methods: Necessary data for this research was collected by the method an electronic questioning. The main instrument of this method was a questionnaire created especially for purpose of the work. The theoretical part was completed by a study of academic literature. Results: The results of research show how handball is popular among students of Prague universities. Research also found out the extent to which they play and watch handball and what they know about it. Title: Attitudes to the merger of floorball clubs IVANTI Tigers a START98 Kunratice Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to find out the attitudes and perception of respondents to the merger of floorball clubs. More specifically, the women's team Ivanti Tigers as a defunct association with the male team Start98 Kunratice as a successor association. The partial goal is to propose recomendations that will make it easier for members and supporters of the club to accept changes. Methods: In the survey, were used both quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative method, during electronic questioning, where the members of the club, coaches and parents across all categories were selected as respondents. The survey concerned only members of the defunct association. A semi-structured in-depth interview with the representative of the Tigers club management was chosen as a qualitative method. Results: The survey found the attitude of respondents to the merger and their overall perception of the project. At first, the results revealed that these attitudes were very negative, mainly due to a lack of communication between members and management. Title: Attitudes to american football at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University Objectives: The focus of this bachelors thesis is to find out what are the attitudes of the students of Faculty of physical education and sport of Charles University to American football and also find out what knowledge students possess about this sport. Methods: In this work is used the method of quantitative questioning through questionnaire survey of students and graduates of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University. Questionnaire was distributed in electronic form and was created exclusively for the purposes of this thesis. The theoretical part was created and written based on studies of specialised literature. Results: In conclusion the research helped with finding the attitudes students of Faculty of Physical Education and Sport to American football. The results are showing what knowledge do those students possess about rules of the game, posts or specific clubs and players. Some of the respondents were showing an interest in trying out this sport. Current knowledge of american football is average, however the stances are mostly positive and there is also an interest in playing this sport as well.
